Want real tax experience but don't have experience to get hired yet? HTCC is a great place to start.

Volunteering with us is a lot like an internship at an accounting firm, but with more personal support. You'll prepare real tax returns, learn how taxes work in the real world, and have direct access to a CPA when you have questions or need help.

What You'll Get

• Prepare real tax returns
• Learn under the direct supervision of a California CPA
• Get hands-on guidance whenever you need it
• Build experience for your resume
• Help families in your community
• Potentially earn qualifying experience toward CPA licensure

You don't need to already have a tax job to start building tax experience. Come learn, get experience, and make a difference at the same time.

We offer in-person training to get you IRS-certified. Prefer to go at your own pace? You're welcome to self-study before your start date instead.

• Comfortable speaking English
• A second language like Spanish or Armenian is a big plus, but not required
